About Namelistings
A namelisting, very basically, is a fanlisting for a name. So, rather than being for an actor etc. the listing lists people who like or are fans of a particular name.

Sam
The name Sam is most commonly a shortening of the name 'Samuel' or 'Samantha' (or possibly also 'Samson'). It can also be a name in its own right. The name Samuel is of Hebrew origin and means 'God heard' or 'Heard by God', or possibly 'God's name'.

I've loved the name Sam (not such a huge fan of Samuel or Samantha, but love Sam) for a long time.
